Wayland P. Seagraves (1910-1992) received both his bachelor's (1932) and master's (1933) degrees in electrical engineering from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University). He was a member of the school's faculty from 1936 to 1948, and returned in 1957 after working as a radio engineer for WPTF.
